Naevia, an amazing, beautiful woman of colorwho has fought her way out of slavery (literally), can hold her own in a fight with former gladiators and trained soldiers, brought her rapist to justice with her own hands, in front of everyone. I love her so much in that she can be soft and loving and feminine, and then she can go out and start cracking skulls. And then Saxa, this bisexual, sex positive, do who what I want who I want when I want woman who has been fighting with and against the men ( and winning) from day one. I love how they look so fierce and animal here. They aren’t “pretty” in these pictures, they aren’t sexy. They aren’t meant to turn you on. They are vicious and bloody and full of rage, just like all the male warriors. These women are not fighting fuck toys. They are warriors. Why can we not have more of this in media right now?
