I guess I kind of take issue with calling a girl a bitch just because she doesn’t live up to some guy’s expectations of her. I don’t know. It always annoys me how much Zooey’s character in 500 DOS gets hated on when she is upfront with whatshisface from the beginning and he’s the one who doesn’t listen to what she’s saying.

2. heartslavves said: They’re both flawed characters, which makes since because they’re both human. Both of them make obvious mistakes that hurt/mislead the other and you can’t crucify the male protagonist just as you can’t crucify the female.
3. michaelhenson said: The movie is basically about the dangers of disillusionment. It’s an epiphany story. I don’t understand why her character is ripped to pieces endlessly when she’s merely a mechanism for progress.
